Terms and conditions

1. Who are we?

KingPitch is a service of KingPitch (sole proprietorship, Dutch Chamber of Commerce number 59533013). Contact: kingpitchapp@gmail.com.

2. The service

KingPitch is software for organising football tournaments: managing teams and pools, creating a schedule, entering results, tracking standings and knockouts, receiving registrations and showing results on a live screen and a public page. You can prepare a tournament for free; going live requires a license.

3. Account and access

• Provide correct details and keep your sign-in secure.
• You are responsible for what happens through your account, including by people you give access or an access code.
• An account is personal and may not be resold.

4. Licenses, prices and credit

• One license is needed per tournament. A license costs €19.95 per tournament.
• You can also buy a package: 3 tournaments for €49.95 or 5 tournaments for €79.95. Package credit does not expire and is personal.
• While the promotion runs, the first 50 tournaments are free. A promotion can end; free licenses already started remain valid.
• The amount shown on the payment page is the amount you pay. Price changes do not apply to licenses or credit you already bought.
• After a payment you receive a confirmation by email. If you need an invoice for your records, email us your details.

5. Payment

Payments for licenses and packages go through our payment provider (Stripe). If teams pay entry fees for your tournament (for example via Mollie or Tikkie), that is an arrangement between you and the teams; KingPitch is not a party to it.

6. Cooling-off and refunds

If you are a consumer, you generally have 14 days to withdraw from a digital service. When you activate a license the service starts immediately. You expressly agree to performance during the withdrawal period and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.

Unused credit can be refunded within 14 days of purchase via kingpitchapp@gmail.com. If the service demonstrably does not work as promised, we will find a suitable solution together or refund you.

7. Your content

• Logos, team names, player details and other content you enter remain yours. You give us the right to display them within the service.
• You guarantee that you may do so and that you have consent from players or their parents where needed.
• No unlawful, offensive or misleading content. We may restrict or remove content or accounts in case of abuse.

8. Permitted use

Not allowed: circumventing licenses or security, overloading or scraping the service, and reselling the service without our permission.

9. Availability and backup

We do our best to keep the service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. A tournament depends on the internet. For important tournaments keep a backup: export your data via My profile and print the schedule. Maintenance may cause temporary interruptions.

10. Liability

We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost income, sponsor agreements or consequences of data entry errors in results. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the tournament or package concerned. This does not apply in case of intent or wilful recklessness, and your statutory consumer rights remain.

11. Intellectual property

The software, design and the KingPitch name belong to us. You receive a personal, non-transferable right to use the service.

12. Termination

You can stop at any time and delete your account. We may restrict or end an account for violating these terms. After deletion your data is removed as described in the privacy policy.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. For important changes we will let you know, for example by email or in the app.

14. Governing law

Dutch law applies to these terms. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands; mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules remain. If we cannot work it out, contact us first via kingpitchapp@gmail.com.
